Privacy policy for the Sort Feed guide
Short version: this is a static informational site with no accounts and no ad pixels. We don't ask for your name and don't sell data. One measurement tool runs here — Google Analytics 4 — and everything it does is listed below.
What we process
-
Google Analytics 4. GA4 sets its
_gacookies and reports which pages are viewed, approximate (city-level) location, and device/browser type. We read only aggregate reports — to see which guides actually help — and never receive anything that identifies you personally. The data is processed by Google under its own privacy terms and retained on GA4's default schedule. To opt out: block cookies for this site, use any content blocker, or install Google's own Analytics opt-out browser add-on — every page here works identically without analytics. - Hosting logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to serve pages and prevent abuse. These logs rotate on the provider's schedule; we don't mine them for identity.
- Email you send us. If you write to [email protected], we keep the thread for as long as the conversation is useful, then it sits in an archive like everyone's email does. We don't add you to any list.
Third parties you may click through to
Outbound links lead to the official Sort Feed site, the Chrome Web Store, and the Lemon Squeezy checkout. Some buttons use partner links (see the disclosure in the footer); the destination sets its own cookies under its own policy once you're there. Purchases, payments and product data are handled entirely by those services — we never see your card, your account or your usage of the extension.
