Open the Chrome Web Store listing
The only official download is the Chrome Web Store — the listing is published by the developer and currently ships version 13.1 (1.13 MiB). Skip any third-party “.crx” or APK mirror sites.

Click “Add to Chrome”, then “Add extension”

Open Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Facebook
Pin the Sort Feed icon to your toolbar (puzzle-piece menu → pin). Clicking it on a profile, search page, collection or saved list opens the sorting panel right over the page.

Sort your first feed
Pick a profile, hit the button, and choose a tab — Sort by Items or Sort by Date. Results carry their outlier score against the account's baseline, and the free plan reads the latest 25 posts or one week of content — enough to see the pattern in any niche.
System requirements
- Google Chrome on Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS — any recent version.
- Chromium-based browsers that accept Web Store extensions (Microsoft Edge, Brave, Arc) generally work too.
- No Firefox, Safari or mobile version exists — details in supported browsers.
- Nothing to configure after install; the button shows up on supported sites automatically.
Versions and updates
Chrome updates extensions automatically in the background, so you always run the latest build — currently 13.1, published 2026-07-23. New releases land regularly; we track what changes in the Sort Feed changelog.

Two small settings worth doing right after install: pin the extension to Chrome's toolbar (puzzle-piece icon → pin) so the entry point is always visible, and enable "Allow in Incognito" on chrome://extensions if you research in private windows — extensions stay off there by default.
